06 Changing Fractions to Decimal Fractions: Lesson and Follow-Ups
In this activity, you will teach your students how fractions can be converted to decimal numbers. Students will use the Pie tool and measure each fraction piece first, then superimpose each fraction piece on the Montessori Centesimal Circle and read the fraction converted to the hundredths. From there, they will convert the fraction to a decimal number. In this slide deck, you have several slides that you can use to explain the process.
