Story of the Orchestra Card Set
This card set has many parts and is intended to go along with the Story of the Orchestra book written by Robert Levine. The book and music should be introduced to the children first. After that, the book and music can be used with the instrument picture cards to identify the different instruments playing during each track. Secondly, the composers can be shown to the children so that they can learn who wrote what songs.
The track number listings are for the children to work on this on their own.

Music Rhythm Cards
These cards can be cut in half and held up in front of children to imitate the rhythm. Some knowledge of quarter notes and rests must be taught. Hold one card up at a time and teach the children how to do the rhythm (having them repeat you). Once they have mastered a few, hold them up and let them do the rhythm on their own. Keep adding more and more rhythms as they master them. Kids love to play this game!
