89 Animals of the Rain Forest "What Am I?" Educational Card Game *Montessori*
This is a file consisting of 89 Animals of the Amazon Rainforest Nomenclature Cards.
These are different in that they have a fourth card for each animal. The fourth card is a "What Am I?" card in order to impart a little knowledge on each animal. There are symbols on the bottom of each master card and the "What am I?" card so you an easily check if you were correct.

The History of Writing-Montessori Cards
I created a set of cards to tell my students the story of the history of writing. I cut out and laminated the text cards and the matching picture cards. I lay out the picture card as I tell the story, and then place the matching text underneath. When completed, this creates a timeline of the history of writing.

Taken directly from Maria Montessori's book, these interpretive reading cards are a fun and interactive way to check reading comprehension. The children read one, act it out and then others guess what they are doing. This mixes charades, reading and problem solving into one fun activity.
