Year end UOI reflection
As inquiry teachers, we are continuously having students reflect on their learning. This activity can be used as a whole class, small group or Student Led Conference reflection on the year's units of inquiry (UOI). Learners can use their portfolios (hard copy or online source), to look back at their body of knowledge, connections and skills. Written reflections using a "plus/delta" aid the teacher or parents in where growth has been made or what might need to change.

IB Reflection sheet
If you teach at an IB school and need a summative task Reflection sheet, this is the right sheet for you and your kiddos! After my students complete their assessment i assign them this sheet to self reflect and make connections to how the task related to their unit/lesson. This sheet also allows them to identify and describe the learner profiles they used throughout the assessment/task.

Making Art with Pencil Crayons: Philosophical Statement
Before you delve into any sort of lesson dealing with colour, perhaps you should take a look at this. I have done so much with pencil crayons. They are so easy to use, to manipulate for mixing new colours, without the mess at clean-up time, and they accomplish the same results, especially for the adolescent mind.
