This unit introduces the student to the debate in ethics today between objective and subjective truth. It looks at why, or how, one might still be able to pose moral arguments in this difficult climate. It teaches students how to form and analyze moral arguments. It introduces students to different ethical systems (Utilitarianism, Deontology, Divine Command, Relativism, Virtue Ethics) and teaches them how to apply these principles to moral scenarios.
