This Or That - Class Activity - 100 This or That Questions
This or That activities is a great way to get to know each other. The ones I found originally weren't long enough. My students love doing these and they really get a chance to bond over similarities and discuss differences (I point out Depth & Complexities - Multiple Perspectives). This activity I created has 100 different This or That questions. It is a great way to start off the school year.

This is a five page graphic organizer where students can create their own business plan that sells a product or service. There are 11 prompts including describing the business, coming up with a name, assessing what they would need to begin, who they would employ, where their business would be located, what they would do with the profits, listing some of the costs of their product or service, and even space to design a logo/sign and draw a store front, floor plan, or website. Brain Teasers Vol. 4 is a great way to have the class active, thinking and participating. Print and edit the activity as you like to have the kids work individually OR the Teacher plays to role of activity "host" and the class shouts out answers.
