Main Idea Graphic Organizer
I use this graphic organizer with my classes all the time. Often my students will read an entire page and have no idea what they just read. With this graphic organizer, students are encouraged to pause after each paragraph and summarize what they read. By frequently reflecting, the students are better able to understand and absorb what they read.
