Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month without missing out on academic time. This activity can be a fun review for older kids (my third graders were always iffy on even/odd at the beginning of the year) or can be used in small group for a fun way to introduce the concept. Completed flags are also a great for decorating the classroom or a bulletin board. Review the parts of speech while playing this silly singing game! I have used these Mad Lyrics and others like them in my classes for a couple of years and the students absolutely love them!
