1st Grade Reading Comprehension and Testing Practice
There are five short reading passages, each of which has a short test (part multiple choice, part free response) afterwards. This can be a beginning of class activity, or can be assigned as homework.
Though this is mostly 1st-2nd grade level, it can be read out loud to younger children or serve as review for older kids. I intentionally did a few things to try to make it more challenging, so that the worksheet could also be a learning opportunity:
