This year I made a class cookbook. I had each student's family submit either a recipe that represents their family or just a favorite recipe. This tied in with our family unit as well as following directions and writing how tos. I collected all of the recipes, we grouped them together by type, created a table of contents, and then I sent each child home with their very own cookbook! Here is the letter that I sent home to families.
