I have been teaching for eleven years. I started out in second grade, became a K-2 Project Child Writing Teacher, and have spent the last eight years teaching the BEST grade ever-Kindergarten! I absolutely LOVE teaching, love my kinder-babies, and love my school!

I believe ALL students can learn. I believe learning should be structured, silly, interactive, developmental, appropriate, hands-on, inquiry based and FUN! I believe in dancing and singing with my students every day. My classroom is a place where students are loved by their teacher and their classmates. I work hard to provide the very best kindergarten experience possible for my students and their families. It really is the best year ever!

I have been married for 17 years to the love of my life. I have two AMAZING children that I could not love more. My son is a sophomore in high school and my daughter is in the eight grade. They are both amazing in so many ways. *Sigh* I'm so proud to be their mama. I am a runner (running my 8th half marathon next week), love to bake, workaholic, party planning, spa loving girl. I love my family and my friends dearly and would do ANYTHING for them.
