I wrote this social story for a first grade child that I was a one on one aide with. The child was having problems at home and in school when it came to violence and was always pretending to "shoot people" and not really understanding what he was actually doing.This story is meant to help children who get exposed to violence early on in their life and hopefully get them to understand that this is not appropriate behavior and is dangerous.
