This fun activity will help students add detail into their writing. Students will imagine passing a plate and each student will add a detail to the plate (Example: The plate is blue, square shaped, has a cupcake on it, the cupcake is vanilla, etc.). Then, students will draw and write as many details as they can remember from their classmates. Students always have a great time with this engaging lesson! They enjoy sharing their plates at the end and seeing other perspectives.
