Use these Kitchen Math & Fractions Slides to help students understand these concepts before cooking in the kitchens! I have noticed that a lot of students struggle with measurements and fractions so I came up with a lesson to hopefully help students grasp these concepts a little better! This contains a link to the editable slides in Canva.com. Once in Canva, use the template and then you can present the slides using the arrows in the bottom right corner! I use this in my Foods and Nutrition

This project has the students researching different textiles. The students must research how the fabrics are made, their use, and other related facts. Once they research the information the students need to put the information in a PowerPoint, Prezi, or Brochure. The rubric is standards based grading with the standards listed.

Jim Crow Image Presentation
This download provides links to a Prezi and a Google Slides presentation (downloadable as a Powerpoint) of Jim Crow photos. These photos were available on websites, so I am not charging, but I did put them together to use as a presentation. I also added some segregation photos from my own life as a resident of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, which is one of the most segregated cities in America.
If you're teaching To Kill a Mockingbird, you've probably gone to Jim Crow websites, so this is nothing new.
