This is a Boggle game for the smartboard. Its FREE, all I ask is you leave feed back and/or a rating please!
This has extra letter pieces and a colorful template. To create a new game board just rearrange the letters or add in some new ones which are provided. It also has a timer feature to add a little intensity and a word bank to allow students to share words they found with the class.
Ways to use this:
1. Smartboard center during daily 5 or guided reading.
2. Early finishers activity.

What Looks Right? -ite and -ight spelling patterns
The "What Looks Right" activity helps students become more familiar with rhyming spelling patterns, such as -ite/-ight, -oad/-ode, -aim/-ame, etc. Students use their visual checking systems to decide which word looks like it is spelled correctly. Words can be moved into categories. Spelling is checked by pressing the check mark icon in the bottom right corner before moving onto the next word.

Early Morning Work Word Puzzle Game
This is a child-friendly version of a popular word game.
The aim is to find as many different words as possible from 9 available letters.
In this game I have created 199 anagrams of child friendly words. Each game comes with a clue to help the children find the 9-letter word. The clue styles vary from crossword clues, definitions and synonyms.

BOGGLE GAME for Spelling and Language Development
Eight Slides of BOGGLE on a 3 by 3 grid. Students try to make as many words going vertically, horizontally, and diagonally. Words can be made by connecting letters left, right, up, or down. Words must be at least 3 letters long. Students make the words and receive points for each words. Longer words score more points. Game last for 1 minute. Great way to incorporate correct spelling and word building into the Word Study Block of the Literacy Plan.

This powerpoint includes a list of common compound words that are animated in each slide in the sense that they are initially broken up then come together to form a compound word. The slides serve as a great warm-up for any Literacy class or lesson most likely aimed at Years 2-6 depending on the development of the class, group or individuals.
