Common Core Code X Unit 3 powerpoint
This is a comprehensive powerpoint for the third unit in Common Core Code X for seventh grade.
All of the concepts that are addressed are necessary in understanding and deeply analyzing the third unit. The unit plan includes many lessons for "Twelve Angry Men" as well as a supplementary text for "I Have A Dream".
The powerpoint also includes slides for the summative task which was to discuss in an informative essay how the two authors convey their ideas about democracy using various strategies

Life Skills Part 2 of 3
This Flipchart series (Parts 1-3) were split up due to the large size of the original file. They cover a Life Skills curriculum for an entire academic year. The lessons focus on basic grammar, appropriate and inappropriate behaviors, goal setting, navigating social relationships, the development of self-advocacy strategies, measuring time, and reading comprehension. The C.L.O.V.E.R. system of teaching syllable awareness is used.
