TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I taught for 4 years at a public high school in Brooklyn. In 2010, I volunteered in the Republic of Georgia for 9 months. I co-taught grades 3-12 English as a Second Language as well as adult school security guards conversational/basic English. I now work as an education specialist for a private company.

MY TEACHING STYLE

My style is visual and hyper-verbal to keep students with disabilities engaged and actively learning. I incorporate a frequent rotation of mini-lessons, Socratic seminars, circulate the room activities (such as DBQ investigations), class debates, research projects, and learning games.
