I put it together to go specifically with Benchmark Education's Memorable Misadventures.The lesson focuses on the key features of a personal narrative: 1.) Writing an Essay: Planning Tools-Circle Map (Brainstorming)&FLEE map SMARTboard
I enjoy the use of these thinking maps for my students. It is a visual way to organize writing.
