Revise vs. Edit T-Chart
I created this visual for students to put in their notebooks. I found it difficult to really describe how REVISE and EDIT were different, so after making a poster, I created this T-Chart for students to keep for reference.
Editing Stations
Use these stations to hold students accountable for each part of the editing process. Stations include directions on how to edit for spelling, word choice, organization, punctuation, capitalization, grammar, and details.
Can also be used as posters in the classroom or to teach editing skills.

This activity was designed with differentiation in mind. The center square is one all students do, the outside corners are the more challenging activities and the remaining four squares are less difficult. This was also designed to appeal to a variety of interests and students to make the learning more engaging for all of your students.
