How to Close Read - Skeleton Notes

Students have all heard about close reading, but often still stop after the first read and proclaim, "I'm done, what do I do now?" Use these skeleton notes to teach students how to close read. While creating a large anchor chart for the classroom, students can create their own notebook page using these notes. This allows students to be actively engaged in learning and gives them a reference to look back at. This two page download includes the blank notes as well as a completed version.
