Fractions on a Number Line
Whenever I teach fractions, I find that students have the most difficulty drawing accurate number lines...and they are expected to draw them over and over...and over again!
Here is a basic printable which includes nine number lines (one each for halves, thirds, fourths, fifths, sixths, sevenths, eighths, ninths, and tenths). Each number line is labeled from 0 to 1. Measurements are accurate so students can practice noticing patterns between unit fractions, equivalent fractions, etc.

Comparing Fractions Visual Activity
Comparing Fractions can be tricky, take it from someone who just taught it! My kiddos needed something visual to keep them on track so I combined two strategies into one and it worked well for them for comparing the fractions. Throw in a couple colored pencils, and you are good to go on successfully comparing fractions on a number line!

Equivalent Fractions and Number-lines
I created this worksheet because I was having a hard time finding a good review/practice activity that correlated well with our CCSS 3rd grade math standards.
Students have to draw both the original fraction then an equivalent fraction. The name the equivalent fraction and identify the numerator and denominator. Finally they plot it on a blank number-line.
