Fraction by whole number division activity using dominoes - dice, 5.NF.B.7a
This is a one page activity that uses dominoes to create the fraction and a dice to determine the whole number. I completed this activity with groups of two students. I had the partners fill in the sheet and then trade it with a fellow group who solved the problems. The activity in entirety took approximately 30-45 minutes depending on the ability level of the students. Fraction Multiplication activity using deck of cards, 5.NF.B.4
This is a 1 page activity for fraction by fraction multiplication and fraction by whole number multiplication. that I used with small groups of two students. Students draw cards from a face down deck to fill in the fraction and whole number boxes (they arranged the cards in whatever way they chose to create the fractions). After filling in all the boxes, student groups solved the problems. This is a Publisher file so that buyers can edit it to meet their needs but I am happy to email you a .pdf
