The Legend of Sleepy Hollow Story and Digital Activity
Read "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow" by Washington Irving and then answer questions related to the text. Reading questions challenge students to make inferences on character, plot, and tone within the story. Students also use evidence from the text to support their reasoning when explaining their thinking. At the end of the activity students also have an opportunity to write their own spooky legend.
