Students will utilize a graphic organizer with 3 columns (have, can, are) to record what they know about squirrels. This chart is a great way to cultivate conversations on nouns, adjectives, and verbs based on a topic. Additionally, there is a squirrel labeling anchor chart to aid with spelling as well as one without the labels to have the students complete independently and identify the parts of the topic.
