It is a sorting activity. It has six mats, one for each group with a colorful background matching the food pyramid. It also has 10 pages with 15 pictures in each showing different groups of food. I strongly recommend to use a cardstock and laminate the mats and pictures. Teacher could use the materials to teach the food groups and students could practice in a center.
