These notes pages were created to accompany a public and shareable Prezi I found online regarding teaching the basics of the Five-Paragraph Essay.
The Prezi uses Bugs Bunny and Elmer Fudd in "What's Opera Doc" and takes the class through the major parts of an essay, with a sample essay highlighting each part.
I did not make the Prezi. I created the notes that correlate with it. I changed my notes from the order of the Prezi to fit the order of how I wish my students to write.

The Curse of Knowledge: How writers betray (but can also help) their readers
Writers falsely assume that readers share an identical understanding and that just giving readers all the argument pieces will persuade them.
