This smart board uses a passage from interactive acheivement testing program. It is fiction and on a third grade reading level. Some comprehension questions are multiple choice but most slides I made for TEI practice- including sequence (drag and drop), draw conclusions (drag and drop), cause and effect, author's purpose, main idea, and general comprehension based on the third grade VA SOLS. This smart board is made up of questions to review the third grade reading skills of using context clues, vocabulary, prefix/suffix, synonyms/antonyms and drawing conclusions. The paragraphs were pulled from various sources and stories. There is opportunity to TEI practice as well because there are questions with multiple answers, drag and drop, etc. Great for test prep!
