The Best Christmas Pageant Ever is a wonderful book, full of exciting characters. This is a SMART Response unit designed to be used while reading this book. At the end of each chapter, students will be asked 10 questions about it. The questions are a mixed variety; multiple choice, yes/no, true/false, etc. Each chapter quiz is setup so that it can be completed independently and you can save your students' scores each day (or at the end of each chapter).

Sadako and The Thousand Paper Cranes Background Information and Questions
This Smartboard presentation gives a brief background of Hiroshima, and what the 1000 paper cranes are about. Then it has a slide with photos to give a visual of what a crane looks like, what a paper crane looks like, and the statue of Sadako. The first slide of the senteo test is the passage "Magical Cartoonist" from superteacherworksheets.com It is about Walt Disney and his life. The students can use the passage to answer questions, recall details, find the main idea and practice for tests.
