Students will:
-Simplify expressions using the properties of exponents (multiplication, power of a power, quotient, zero, negative, rational)
-Simplify square roots
-Simplify radicals (including cube roots and 4th roots)
This chart is organized into three columns: "Problem", "My Attempt", and "Correct Solution". I walk my students through an error analysis process using this activity so that they can identify and learn from their own mistakes.
I use this in both my Algebra 1 and Geometry class
