Algebra I Daily Warm Up Bell Ringer Do Now Calendar Math with Timer - Day 1 - 45
This is a daily warm up calendar math activity that I have my students complete as the bell rings for class to begin.
It is designed in the program SMART NOTEBOOK which you must have to use this! I use this file on a non-SMART Board screen, so it will work on any surface as along as you have the program!
When the students enter the classroom, they have 3 minutes (or however long you want! with the timer given on each slide) to copy down the night's homework assignment and complete the 3 warm

Daily Oral Language Daily Fix It Interactive SMARTBoard

Use this Notebook file on your Smartboard on the first day of school to get to know your new students. The large die on the bottom is an interactive one. Students will come up to the Smartboard, roll the die (by tapping it), and then share something depending on what they rolled. How I Teach Relating Graphs To Events
This is a 25 page Smartboard file describing how to graph situation on a coordinate graph according to different events. The lesson describes what situations make a line go up, go down, or stay horizontal. Sometimes the students have to graph the situation and sometimes the students have to write a story that matches a given graph. I also have a worksheet that goes with this.

Distributive Property and Combining Like Terms on the Smartboard
This SMART Notebook file for Smartboard is a lesson designed for a Pre-Algebra or Algebra class that is learning to simplify expressions by combining like terms and using the Distributive Property. There is an interactive page for each skill in which the kids use Snickers bars and Jolly Ranchers from a never-ending bank to model expressions as Algebra tiles would.
