This is a good end of the year project. Students pick a mathematician of the same ethnicity/gender to complete a biographical project. This project has multiple ways to present. I am uploading it in Word format so that you may modify to best suit your needs.
This project can be just a media project that is submitted OR it can also be a presentation. This works especially well for high school students who are thinking about plans after high school. This works well with any level of student as it's very individual - there are three topic choices - and students can utilize their creativity within the project and through their choice of media for their presentation.I have also included a rubric that can be changed to suit your needs.
There are 144 good bye stickers and tags to give to your student to say good-bye.
There are also tags for the "last day of school."
Send them off,
wish them well
Tell them you hope they have a fun summer...
and more..
This document is aligned to ELA CCSS and ISTE. It is designed to have middle school students create a list of goals for their future and present them to the class. It's a great "Back to School" activity to get to know the kids, and to get them acclimated with technology (you can even pick a particular platform if you want them to get familiar with it during the school year), and all the directions for each phase are included!
The topic could also be changed to "Celebrations" for an "End of
Prezi on Scheduling that discusses processors, tasks, processing times, precedence relations, optimal schedule, Diagraphs, Precedence relations, and scheduling using a priority list.
