Very easy media project that needs very little planning:
1 class lesson + 1 work period

1) Brainstorm with students the possible stereotypes that exist in media (Tv, movies, video games, news, etc.) and how they portray different groups (ex. race, religion, sex, aboriginal status, abilty, age, etc.)
2a) Discuss as a class how young african american men are often shown in the media. Then, show the youtube video attached.
2b) Discuss as a class how women wearing hijab
