"There is reading in math?" "I don't want to read!" That's what your students will probably say at first, but this story is in the perspective of a middle school student who is going on a field trip with ratios everywhere!!!
This activity is good to use during the introduction phase of ratios, and practicing with writing it three different ways.
Students will read the story, and highlight anything that they think could be a ratio. After reading students can work together answering questions
