Tis the season for holiday STEM! Here is a SmartBoard activity that I made for a 2nd grade class. This Smart has directions, materials, charts and timers for the activity. Students are to build the tallest Christmas tree that they can in 15 minutes. At the beginning, I have the jobs broken down. 3rd Reading SOL TEI Review Poem passage with comprehension questions/test prep
This is a TEI Sol reading comprehension review. The passage is the first slide, I print a copy for each student so they can do their highlighting. The questions are on author's purpose, reference materials, antonyms, fact and opinion, main idea, suffix, keyword search, stanzas and lines, cause and effect, homophones, setting, fiction/nonfiction.
