Book Review Template
This book review template will allow students to rate and summarize their choice books, literature circle books, or even class reads. Have students color their review and use for a class bulletin board. They can complete these independently or in small groups! Connecting to Literary Themes
This handout is a great pre-reading activity for ANY piece of literature you may be getting ready to read with your class. Simply add the themes above each of the boxes, print, and distribute. This will introduce the themes of the text to your class and have them connect their lives to that theme, making the upcoming text relevant to them and piquing their interest.
This is a word document so you can add, omit, or change anything as you need.
