Mixed number fraction addition activity - game using dice, 5.NF.A.1
I used this 1 page activity with small groups of two students. The students roll the dice to fill in the mixed number fraction boxes and then they worked through completing the calculations. Student groups can also trade their sheet with another group for calculation completion. Fraction by whole number division activity using dominoes - dice, 5.NF.B.7a
This is a one page activity that uses dominoes to create the fraction and a dice to determine the whole number. I completed this activity with groups of two students. I had the partners fill in the sheet and then trade it with a fellow group who solved the problems. Movie Theme Ordering Numbers
Students will use picture cue cards to order numbers either by greatest to least or least to greatest depending on what the graphic organizer tells them.
Teacher could pass out cards and have students group up based on pictures and then then have them work together to order themselfs based on what you tell them. Then pick up cards pass out different cards to each student. Have them regroup up and than call out how you would like them to organize themselves.

This is a 1 page activity for fraction by fraction multiplication and fraction by whole number multiplication. that I used with small groups of two students. Students draw cards from a face down deck to fill in the fraction and whole number boxes (they arranged the cards in whatever way they chose to create the fractions).
