We used this in conjunction with a flap book the kids made in class to identify four types of clouds (cirrus, cumulus, stratus, cumulonimbus). To prepare for the lesson, I folded a piece of blue construction paper in half length-wise then cut it into four flaps. Throughout the lesson, students added cotton balls and brief description of each cloud type. After working through the lesson, we took our flap books outside to identify the type(s) of clouds we could see.
