Students circle the one that they hear. I don't use this with any particular pieces of listening music since they can have both high and low pitches. I use this with the folk song "Higher Than a House" which can end on high do' or low do. I sing the song to them four times (with a few repeats to check their answers). Students have to circle whether I end high or low with my voice. Hope this is helpful, and don't forget to rate! :)

Students listen to 4 pieces (or excerpts) of music and circle the correct answer: Loud or Soft. I have added lines underneath each number to hopefully help with any confusion on where to circle. I also find that it helps to tell my students to circle the correct answer and cross out the incorrect answer (especially those kindergartners). :-P Here are some ideas on some songs: -Clair de Lune by Debussy (soft) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CvFH_6DNRCY -Carnival of the Animals: Pianists by S
