Easter Story Elements
This Easter activity helps teacher instruct students about the different story elements: characters, plot, and setting. The beginning part of the lesson includes definitions of each element. Then, the students are able to select a picture from the board of eggs, chicks, and bunnies and answer a question about a provided story. Each question relates to either character, plot, or setting and has an accompanying story to go with it.

This is a fun way to practice NWF if you use the Dibel's assessment with your students. The activity has 4 race cars to choose from and 3 different tracks of nonsense words. Smart Board Tic-Tac-Toe Game (Winter Themed)
This is a Smart Notebook file. There are two different tic-tac-toe boards, both winter-themed with clip art to use instead of X's and O's. The clip art game pieces are set to infinite cloner, so students can just grab and drag their piece to the location on the gameboard. This is great for review, student vs. student, girls vs. boys, teacher vs. students, etc.

Grammar and Sequence of Simple Daily Events
This is a single slide activity for the very young or slow learners. It includes sentences to be arranged in order of how they should prepare themselves for school each morning.
They drag the sentences to the proper place in sequence and then self-check. It's a great format for a teacher to change the sentences for a larger variety of the same type of skill, up to any level of understanding in sequence.
