Boggle for the Smartboard
This is a Boggle game for the smartboard. Its FREE, all I ask is you leave feed back and/or a rating please!
This has extra letter pieces and a colorful template. To create a new game board just rearrange the letters or add in some new ones which are provided. It also has a timer feature to add a little intensity and a word bank to allow students to share words they found with the class.
Ways to use this:
1. Smartboard center during daily 5 or guided reading.
2. Early finishers activity.

Making Words Smartboard Activity
I use this product in conjunction with Saxon Phonics that we use at our school. I am able to build the words with the students, allow them to build words on the SmartBoard during the lesson, and students are able to use the activity as a visual if they are having trouble making the words with the letter tiles. I've created a SmartBoard activity about performing contraction surgery! On the SmartBoard, students are to look at the original word on "Bob's" left food, and perform surgery using the scalpel, to create the contraction word. The contraction word will be under the band aid on the right foot.

Making Words with the SmartBoard: Short A-E-U sounds
This is a SmartBoard lesson in which students will make CVC words that have short /a/, /e/, and /u/ sounds. The teacher calls out a word. Students make the word at their desks (there is a file attached to the lesson that contains letter strips for the students). A volunteer makes the word at the Smartboard. Each screen contains the letters within the lesson, spaces in which to place the letters, and a pull tab with the word used in context along with a visual representation of the word.
