Hi all! I saw a picture simliar to this online but couldn't find a hard copy to be able to print and use it in my classroom. I took the idea I saw in the picture and put my own little spin on it and created a word document that I could print and share! Research a Civil Rights Hero
Have your students research a civil rights changemaker! I use PebbleGo and Britannica School to have students find a hero to research. They fill out the information part and then draw a picture of what that hero is famous for.This could pair well with any book about a civil rights changemaker causing "good trouble" like Ruby Bridges, Dr King, Claudette Colvin, John Lewis, or anyone else from that time period!
