TEACHING EXPERIENCE

As a speech language pathologist for over 35 years, I came to value children's picture books as a teaching resource. Now retired, my hobby is to browse library sales and resale stores in search of books that stand out from the rest. They have engaging stories and well-crafted illustrations. There's nothing quite as wonderful as holding a picure book and spending lots of time on each page. But if you can't buy the books nor access a library, you'll find many of these stories read aloud online. I began this store in 2015 with every product offered free. But, in 2023, when I suspected my work was lifted and posted for sale in another store, it seemed time to erect a paywall. Most of my paid resources are listed at the lowest price recommended by TPT.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Slow. Relaxed. Conversational.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

As a pediatric Speech Language Pathologist, I collaborated with many school-based personnel. I also tutored middle grade English skills. For older students and adults who need work with basic skills, my lessons are devoid of childish decoration. Young students may want to perk up my plain worksheets colorful doodles, drawings, and stickers.
