This is a great activity to go along with any fact and opinion lesson. Students need to pick an animal and then write three facts and three opinions about the animal. After, students are to write a paragraph using these facts and opinions. A paragraph checklist is provided. My students really enjoyed doing this activity and putting their knowledge of fact and opinion to practice! They loved choosing their own animals and doing some mini research too!
