Smartboard - Life Cycle of the Chicken - "All Cracked Up"
This Smartboard Activity is a great interactive science unit about the life cycle of the chicken.
The slides consist of activities:
- label the parts of the chicken and egg,
- view pictures of the chicken embryo each day of development,
- chicken jokes,
- and games about terms.

This Easter activity helps teacher instruct students about the different story elements: characters, plot, and setting. The beginning part of the lesson includes definitions of each element. Then, the students are able to select a picture from the board of eggs, chicks, and bunnies and answer a question about a provided story.
