I selected 6 roles that I liked best for literacy circles and created task cards for each role. The cards can be cut out and either printed out new each circle session (and pasted into students' reading notebooks), or they can be laminated and reused; in the later case, students would just swap cards each session. The task cards also make very good bookmarks! Happy reading!
