Poetry and Art is a two session lesson plan and project with a PowerPoint. It introduces students to the idea that artists and poets both create a kind of picture in an engaging format. This is a great way for those kids who think writing poetry is “too hard” or don’t know how to begin a poem to have an entry point into writing poetry.
