Infographics for Research & Writing (Distance Learning)
Infographics are used in all areas of print media and information. Knowing how to read and create infographics are important in this digital age our students are growing up in. This lesson develops the skills of:main ideasummary writingparaphrasing creating and using data. The lesson is written to focus on the development of their own idea or interests, however it can be easily adapted to a final project after a research unit. The flexibility is easy for differentiation as well.

This resource is a handout that asks students to create an identity poster in which they incorporate words, phrases, images, drawings, etc., which are reflective of their internal and external identity to create an Identity Poster. This will aid in students defining "identity," understanding their sense of self, as well as the complexities within not only themselves but all those around them.This can be an extension activity for lessons/units on identity.
