Mesoamerica - The Arrival of Man
I teach Mexican American studies at a public school district in Texas and realized that there were not any slides I can use. The information in this slide deck describes how humans got here using the Bering Land Bridge. Included are Lesson Objectives, Student Success Criteria and a reflection for every lesson. American Expansion Primary Source Analysis
This is a great assignment I use with my students each year when discussing the expansion of American Industry! Students view several primary source excerpts regarding the rise and expansion of many industries including the railroad and coal. After reviewing the excerpts students will complete a graphic organizer examining the impact of each industry as well as create an evidence backed statement regarding what they felt had the largest impact on the growth of America.
