College Bound Research Project & Excel
Students will use the internet to research various expenses related to going to college and living independently This assumes they will be paying for all college and living expenses on their own. I am providing this in Microsoft Word so that you may edit to fit your class needs. After the research is completed, they will create an Excel spreadsheet that calculates their monthly living expenses and they must find a job that will support their living expenses.

This activity can be adjusted to use any type of candy such as M&Ms, Skittles, Reeses Pieces, Sprees, etc. Students will count the variations of candy given and create a spreadsheet. They will then create a bar or pie chart and analyze the data.

Creating A Google Website
This rubric provides a step by step creation and grading of a basic Google website. It's called a "Digital Portfolio" because the students can use this type of website throughout the education career. All they have to do is attach or insert their self created work to top level / sub page.
