New Year Traditions in Mexico and Spain - Spanish 1
This Webquest investigates different traditions in Mexico and Spain to celebrate the New Year! This is ideal for a Middle School or High School Spanish 1 class--both websites are in English.
Students will investigate:
-Eating grapes at midnight
-Throwing water out to the street
-Wearing different colored clothing (and underwear!)

On the last page, students are asked to compare and contrast these traditions with traditions in the United States with a Venn Diagram.
